Line Height – How to Use It

Line Height controls the vertical spacing between lines of text in your documentation. Adjusting it helps improve readability and makes long content easier to scan.
Location: PinkDocs → Appearance
How it works
- Use the slider to increase or decrease the space between text lines.
- The number shown (for example, 1.6) represents the spacing ratio relative to the text size.
Recommended setting
- 1.6 (Default) – Ideal for most documentation
- Comfortable to read
- Works well for long paragraphs
- Reduces eye strain
When to adjust it
- Lower value (1.3 – 1.4)
- Compact layout
- Good for short descriptions or dense layouts
- Higher value (1.7 – 1.9)
- Airy, relaxed reading
- Great for guides, tutorials, and knowledge bases

The preview box updates instantly, so you can see exactly how your text will look before saving the setting.
