You can deactivate PinkDocs to pause it, or delete it to remove the plugin. Learn what happens to your docs in each case before you choose.

Deactivate PinkDocs
Open Plugins
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins.
Deactivate
Find PinkDocs and click Deactivate.

Your docs, settings and analytics stay in the database. Click Activate at any time to bring your help centre back.
Delete PinkDocs and keep your data
Deactivate first
Deactivate PinkDocs on the Plugins screen.
Delete the plugin
Click Delete under PinkDocs and confirm.
Your docs stay in the database. Reinstall PinkDocs and activate your licence to use them again.
Delete PinkDocs and remove all data
Follow these steps only if you want to permanently remove every doc, category, setting, changelog and analytics record.
Back up your site
Create a full backup of your database and files.
Turn on data removal
Go to PinkDocs → Settings, open the Advanced tab and turn on Remove all data when deleting PinkDocs.

Deactivate and delete
Go to Plugins, deactivate PinkDocs, then click Delete and confirm.
Before you uninstall
- Export your docs with Tools → Export if you might need them later.
- Set up redirects from your docs URLs to another page so visitors don't see errors.
- Remove menu links to your help centre.
- Disconnect AI tools connected through MCP.
- Deactivate your licence in PinkDocs → License so you can use it on another site.
